Lin Zhi was born in 1988 in Shantou, Guangdong Province, and now lives and works in Guangzhou. 

From 2007 to 2010, Lin Zhi studied in Jilin University of Arts, and in the same year, he began to create novels and illustrations on the theme of ONECHILD. In 2011, ONECHILD was published in the form of a 100,000-word novel. At the same time, Onechild was derived from the image of the novel "a child", and also moved from the illustration manuscript to the medium of oil on canvas. Formally connect the artist's creation and expression. From 2013 to 2020, Lin Zhi worked and lived in Bangkok, Thailand.
