| ArtDepot is pleased to announce that Li Morning’s solo exhibition The Unseen Aperture will be presented at Atoll Space on April 18, 2026. The exhibition will feature five selected easel works and a selection of ceramic pieces, offering an intimate monologue of the artist’s inward exploration. |
The Unseen Little Kong is a window Morning Li opens inwardly. Light streams through it, gently illuminating a quiet dreamland.
With highly impactful visual language, the artist condenses the metaphors of dreams, the perception of life, and spiritual monologues into highly recognizable symbols. In this body of works, he constructs narratives through images that blend naïve charm and scars, weaving the sense of alienation individuals feel in the torrent of information into every inch of texture. The layered, peeling paper and worn brushstrokes are intended to preserve the warmth of time—like marks carved on the wall in childhood, silent and unadorned, yet genuinely existent, waiting to be seen.
May every hidden loneliness and every misunderstood resonance find a proper place here.
